If you’ve landed here, you’re interested in learning more about us – that’s great! We could go on and on about how cool our urban wine concept is, how amazing it is that we source our grapes from all over the state, or what a fun environment our tasting room is. But instead, we’ll just let our customers do the talking for us. Here’s what people are saying!

Let me start my Yelp review with the above statement.
This is a convenient day time wine connoisseurs location with plenty of parking, in San Diego parking is always a bonus.
Negociant Winery’s ambiance is a little hipster with a touch of French/Italian flare. The dim lighting is appealing, because nobody likes getting drunk with bright lights in your face.
The environment isn’t too intimate, yet private enough to enjoy a romantic date or a business meeting.
The venue flows well, out to the back patio where you can enjoy wine and the San Diego weather.
They do provide food, however you have to order before 5:30.
Negociant Winery boasts a flavorful wine selection as well as excellent Italian coffee.
It is a clean facility with a friendly wine knowledgeable staff.
I was attending a charity event, and pleased to see this establishment not only supporting it by providing the venue but allowing the charity to keep the proceeds from the wine purchases that evening.
When many of us are looking for affordable wines of value and character, reliable négociants are important names to know.
Wine Education = why you should support this establishment:
A negociant, in the context of wine, is a merchant who purchases grapes, bulk juice or finished wine from other vineyards. They can bottle the wine under their own name either as is or after blending with other wines.
REASONS TO VISIT:
4. Great wine selection
5. They support local charities
6. Great for a date or business meeting
Negociant is a great option for wine-drinkers and non-wine-drinkers alike.
Because of their affiliation with the coffee shop attached to it (Grinds and Vine), Negociant is a great option for wine-drinkers and non-wine-drinkers alike.
We have been members of their wine club for almost a year and still enjoy all the wines they have. My personal favorites are the Symphony and the Syrah. I’m not usually a fan of sweet wine, nor do I usually opt for whites, but the Symphony is both and is fantastic; very refreshing, my go-to on a hot day.
If you are hungry or want something to pair with your wine, they allow you to order from Grinds and Vine and will serve their food. Alternatively I can go to the Grinds and Vine and get some of Negociant’s wine with my meal. This has become one of our lazy Sunday afternoon diversions: we can bring our kids, let them order a snack or drink from the coffee shop, while we sip a glass of wine; everyone’s happy. And they have wifi, so it’s a good spot to study or surf.
Negociant is definitely worth a try, whether alone with your laptop, with a group of friends, or as a family outing. Tip: do check the hours they are open.
